Tomorrows Speakers (September 22, 2016)
Sepbember 15: Speaker: Angela Meek / Beacon of Hope Hospice. Also PAJAMA DRIVE
MEETING TIME: Thursday, September 15, 12:00 noon at Calico’s.
Fellow Lions, we have Angela Meek from Beacon of Hope Hospice. She is the Hospice Care Coordinator for the Kingman area. She will tell us all about the services they have to offer. Additionally her company is a doing a pajama drive for the Kingman Area to Abused Persons. They are in need of pajamas for the women and the children who have had to flee their homes due to abuse. The pajamas can be used or new. Lion Ada and I have already obtained a bagful of used pajamas. I would like to present them to her along with other pajamas. It would be a great way to serve our community. See you all there! If this is too short of notice for getting pajamas, I am sure we can get them to Angela in a few weeks.
