Recycle for Sight – Donate your used eyeglasses!
In partnership with the Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation, the Kingman Mohave Lions Club collects used eyeglasses to be recycled in Arizona and around the world. Arizona Lions have been recycling used eyeglasses for over 30 years. With the help of our community, our Club processes over 3,000 eyeglasses annually. To make a donation, bring any unbroken used glasses to your nearest collection point.
Lions Peace Poster Contest
Each year, Lions clubs around the world proudly sponsor the Lions International Peace Poster Contest in local schools and youth groups. This Contest encourages young people worldwide to artistically express their visions of peace.
Luggage from Lions Program
Picture this: A 13-year-old is being picked up because she needs emergency shelter or to be temporarily placed in foster care. You are the one who is picking her up. She comes out to your car with three, disposable black trash bags, carrying all of all of her possessions. How do you think she feels?
What if we could help her and others like her feel better, to have a bit more dignity in such a difficult situation? The Kingman Mohave Lions have teamed up with CASA of Mohave County to do just that.
Consider donating your unneeded gently used luggage to the From Lions Program. Donated luggage may be dropped off at the Salvation Army or the Kingman Powerhouse Visitor Center.
